A Question of Trespass
Let us suppose you went on an extensive vacation with family
and left vacant your home for some period of time. After due course you had occasion to return
home only to find a family of complete strangers living in your house. These strangers raided your refrigerator, and
made extensive use of all the amenities contained therein. The question arises: "Would you seek to
remove them from the premises under threat of legal action for trespass?!"
The immigration issue is not about race , or nationality,
or poor children in a corrupt society, or any other "made up" sad story in defense of ignoring the U.S. Immigration
laws. The real issue here is whether or
not the boundaries of the United States are to be treated as "our" home!
I consider every part of the U.S. as my home. I spent some time in military service doing
my part in its' defense.
I do not have a clue as to why anyone in a responsible
position in our government - who has sworn to uphold the laws of our nation -
would be so willing to ignore the laws that so many have shed so much blood to
protect.
