The Wall A Puzzling Quandary
We are told by Speaker of the House
Nancy Pelosi and the "House" majority, that our nation cannot afford
$5-billion as a step toward securing our borders; never-the-less in 2016, "we"
as a nation gave away $49-Billion in the form of foreign aid. In 2017, $49.6 Million in economic and
security assistance was given to Mexico.
Our military involvement in the Middle East is costing us $-billions on
a daily basis not to mention the horrific cost of military lives and
debilitating injuries.
It is puzzling that our national
leaders readily spend $-billions in foreign lands but cannot find the funds to
provide security to the people of this nation.
To solve this nation's problems,
should our national leaders oppose President Trump's policies based on his
harsh and abrasive remarks or make decisions in accordance to what is best for
the country?
Some argue our immigration laws
should be changed instead of spending money for a border wall, but no one is
mentioning what part of the immigration laws should be amended.
Currently, many foreigners are ignoring our borders in defiance of
American immigration laws but are allowed, after they are apprehended, to
request asylum resulting in a huge burden on our court system at a tremendous
cost to the American taxpayer. Clearly,
our immigration laws should be amended to bar those who violate our border from
making any request for asylum and they should be returned immediately to their
country of origin.
